Business Development

The Department for Business Development has the task of promoting the creation and development of businesses in Cornouaille.

Its 3 main tasks are to:

			Stimulate and facilitate the creation and transfer of businesses
			Offer specialised advice
			Lead and promote the economic fabric through local action. Other tasks include representing and running clubs, groups or business associations

The services of this department are as follows:

The creation, takeover or transfer of businesses

The role of this service is to inform, advise and support people setting up or taking over businesses, to carry out legal formalities, to finance business plans (Cornouaille Initiative) and to provide accommodation for new businesses in specially adapted facilities (Pépinière d'entreprises - "Enterprise nursery").

Commercial Development

This service offers advice to shopkeepers, promotes the commercial fabric and informs the public of what is available in Cornouaille (Observatoire de l'Offre Cornouaillaise).

Tourist Development

Tourist development is concerned with giving advice to and publishing tourist information for businesses in this sector of activity and for promoting visits by tourists to businesses in Finistère (Tourisme de Découverte économique)

Industrial and International Development

The principal tasks of this department are industrial development, international affairs, advice to businesses in their development plans, mobilisation of the regional performance network (Citroën Super Force - a production organisation, Bretagne Qualité Plus, Bretagne Ressources Humaines Plus), the implantation of businesses abroad (Opération Cap Export - CRCI Bretagne), the provision of information about foreign markets and legal advice.

Environmental Management

Environmental management signifies a commitment to a positive environmental policy (Environmental Diagnosis and Advice), the optimisation of industrial waste management (MIGDEB CCI 29), the improvement of the environmental quality of industrial and trading estates (Opération Bretagne Qualiparc (CRCI Bretagne).
